Almost all modern ones, regardless of the model: Asus, Acer, Sony, Samsung, HP, Lenovo, Toshiba, Fujitsu-Siemens, DELL, eMachines, MSI (purchased in 2013) can turn on Bluetooth (such a function is provided), which computers do not (can be installed) and this is a big plus.

In theory, turning on Bluetooth on a laptop is simple, but sometimes for many (newbies) it’s problematic.

Most likely, I won’t be able to answer “absolutely everyone” on how to turn on Bluetooth on a laptop, although I’ll try to sort everything out. If it doesn’t work out - write the reasons in the comments - we’ll definitely find a solution.

Keep in mind that everything that will be written below regarding enabling Bluetooth on a laptop is general recommendations; if they differ for different models, then only partially.

The first thing that needs to be emphasized is that even if you buy a laptop with Windows 7 or Windows 8 pre-installed, you may not be able to turn on Bluetooth.

Either operating system installers are lazy or there is no such command, but I have often seen laptops (purchased with official Windows) without installed bluetooth drivers, and without them it will not work.

Moreover, manufacturers have recently almost forgotten about Bluetooth. For example, if they make a laptop for 64 bits, then they often don’t pay attention to 32 bits. There are no drivers for bluetooth for such systems (they haven’t been created), so it’s time to change the operating system.

I'm not talking about absolutely everyone, but it's not uncommon. One more thing. Bluetooth is mainly used to connect to phones (smartphones, iPhones, iPods, etc.). Usually it is not possible to connect directly - you need special programs. They exist, they are free, you just need to find and download them.

On Windows 8.1, the order in which the adapter is turned on has undergone minor changes:

1. Call the Charms panel, open “Options”.
2. Go to the "Change PC settings" section.
3. Open the Computer and Devices tab.

If there are bulges or visible damage on the surface, the battery should be discarded and replaced with a new one. Swollen batteries cannot be repaired, but in some cases their life can be extended:

• Using a flathead screwdriver, remove the sticker from the front of the battery. Disconnect the chip and set it aside, but do not tear off the controller contacts.
• Using a thin needle, carefully pierce the side of the battery where the controller board used to be.
• Press the battery with a heavy object larger than its body in area. Release any accumulated gas without damaging the battery.

Important! The above method will help extend the battery life by several days, but the battery should be replaced as soon as possible.

If the problem was a faulty battery, the reboots will stop for a while. Only replacing the battery can completely eliminate the defect.

Phone reboots when starting Android

If your gadget reboots every time you turn it on, the following methods may help.

• Perform a hard reset via Recovery. On models from different manufacturers, the entrance to Recovery is slightly different.
